A furnace that won't light or keeps shutting off needs real diagnosis, not another reset. Every visit includes a carbon monoxide safety check, standard, not an upsell.
A short list of components causes most Furnace Repair calls: ignitor, flame sensor, gas valve, heat exchanger. We test with real equipment, not parts-cannon guessing.
Safety and accuracy on every heating call.
A combustion analyzer reading for dangerous CO levels is part of every visit, not optional.
No-heat calls in Shiloh get priority routing over routine work during cold snaps when it's cold.
Ignitor or heat exchanger, the price is quoted and approved before work begins.
Our techs are trained equally on gas furnaces and electric heat strips, no exceptions.
The most common furnace failure points.
Cracked ignitors and carbon-fouled sensors cause a large share of no-heat calls, usually a same-visit fix.
Gas valve testing confirms the fault before we recommend replacing it.
We inspect carefully with proper equipment rather than assuming based on age.
Short-cycling or mid-cycle shutdowns often trace to the limit switch or a struggling blower before condemning the control board.
Older Shiloh furnaces with standing pilots have their own failure points — thermocouples, pilot orifices, draft issues that newer ignition doesn't have.
Zero response from the furnace can mean a wiring fault, not a furnace failure to avoid overcharging for parts you don't need.
